Retail Awards
The Annual Top Retailer Awards were established in 2008 to recognise innovation and growth. South Africans across the country were interviewed and asked to reveal their favourite brands of the year—the brands they deem to be the best and of the highest calibre. Spur competed with heavy-weight brands like Shoprite, Woolworths and Edgars.
We are exceptionally proud to announce that our Spur families and friends have voted us as Best Family Sit-down Restaurant in the country, for 3 years running! This proves our consistent passion and dedication when it comes to pleasing our customers, thank you South Africa!

Best of Joburg Awards
The Best of Johannesburg Readers' Choice Awards are based on votes received from half a million readers of Johannesburg's Leisure Options newspaper.
Spur has won in the Best Steakhouse Franchise and Best Kids' Party Venue categories consecutively for the past 4 years. We are especially proud of these awards because the results come from such a large number of consumers.

Gold Pack Awards
Spur, along with our printing partner Shave and Gibson received the Best in Category, Gold Pack Award for our new Spur Takeaway Packaging. The Judges declared our cartons to be 'extremely well executed in every respect', from the innovative design on the Klafold outer (brown) surface to production and printing.
