Spur Steak Ranches has taken title sponsorship for the Spur Merchiston Tag rugby festival in Pietermaritzburg. This year the Spur Spur Merchiston Tag rugby festival will take place on the 28th May 2016 at Merchiston prep school. 500 boys from schools around Pietermaritzburg will take part in this fun form of non-contact rugby where-by player skill and fitness is tested. The SA Rugby legends will be conducting a coaching session for all the boys after the Tag rugby games. Each of the 500 boys will receive a Spur burger and drink along with a Spur branded t-shirt.
