How do I apply for the Spur Family Club?

Visit www.familycard.co.za and click Not A Member button. Fill out your personal details and click JOin. You will be able to view your profile by signing in via the Family Card website or mobisite or Spur app logins.

How do I register my physical Family Club card?

If you have a physical Family Club Card from a store, visit www.familycard.co.za and click the Join Now button. Fill out your personal details and click Join. You will be able to view your profile by signing in via the Family Card website or mobisite or Spur app logins.

How do I change my Family Club details?

Login to your Family Club profile on either the Family Card website, mobisite or app and click on "Edit Profile".

How do I confirm if I have Family Club vouchers?

Vouchers are loaded on the eFamily Card profile. You will be notified that there is a R50 voucher available via SMS or email, provided we have the correct contact details of the card holder.

What do I do if I lose my physical Family Club card?

Visit your nearest Spur and get a replacement card. Once you have the replacement card, call Spur Customer Care to report lost card and to transfer your information to the new one (086 000 7787)

What do I do if I forgot my Family Club username & password?

Visit www.familycard.co.za and click the Forgot Login details button. If we have your correct cell phone number & email address we will message you temporary login credentials. You will need to update your logins once logged in.

How do I check how many points and vouchers are in my Family Club?

You can either check online - www.familycard.co.za for registered Family Cards and all eFamily Card holders or you can call Spur Customer Care (086 000 7787). Alternatively when you are at a restaurant you can request this information from the waitron by giving the waitron your Family Club card details and requesting a print out of your balance.

How do I book a party at Spur?

What does a birthday combo consist of and how much does it cost?

The Spur Birthday Combo is available on our Kiddies Menu and includes a selected Kids' Meal (choose from our kids' beef burger, fish fingers, viennas, toasties or pizza) PLUS a soda or fruit juice, a soft serve and a "Spur Birthday Surprise". The cost of this combo is R74.90 per child.

How can I check if I have any eGift Vouchers?

You can login to the https://familycard.co.za/

Click on eGift Vouchers and if you have any vouchers it will display in this section.  If you have the Spur App your eGift Cards are loaded to your Family Club profile. If you don’t have the App you call Spur Customer care (086 000 7787). Find out more about our Spur App here.

Who do I contact to ask Spur to sponsor an event?

Contact the management at your nearest Spur restaurant first, as each restaurant assists with sponsorship initiatives in their communities.

Should your sponsorship request be on a national scale and not in a specific community, you can contact our Marketing Development team on [email protected].

Who do I contact to ask about charitable donations?

The Spur Foundation through its Full Tummy Fund mainly focuses on early childhood development and nutrition for children from disadvantaged communities up to the age of six. For more information on who we support, our funding parameters or to apply for funding please visit www.fulltummyfund.co.za or contact them on [email protected].

Why has Spur decided to remove balloons from restaurants?

Removing balloons from our offering falls in line with Spur's commitment to environmental sustainability. We are aware that balloons are associated with celebrations, but we cannot ignore the fact that when these colourful single-use items end up in the ecosystem, animals mistake it for food, which, when ingested, can cause fatal harm. By gradually phasing out balloons and plastic toys we aim to contribute to a sustainable, pollution free environment for our children and future generations.  

What will the balloons be replaced with?

To keep our waste input to the minimum, the balloons won't be replaced with anything, instead we will be putting our efforts and budget into enhancing the fun Spur experiences we offer to our young customers. We will continue to deliver on our delicious kids menu offering, face painting, exciting new lucky packets with paper based activities, great birthday parties, safe and fun kid’s play areas and more education around caring for the environment. 

Will other elements such as sweet wrappers, takeaway packaging be changed as well?

Sweet wrappers have already been changed to paper-based wrappers, and all takeaway packaging is made from sustainable material from renewable resources, and our plastic bags have been replaced with paper alternatives. Spur has also introduced paper-based straws. Other single-use plastic items that are still in the system is recyclable, but we are in the process of investigating alternatives, and will keep our customers up to date when we make important changes.

How can I stay up to date with all the latest Spur news?

Ensure you're Opted-in to our customer communications. To do this, login to the Familycard website. Go to My Profile. Then Edit Profile and scroll down then check both boxes for Email and SMS and Click Next, then Update.
